New Phone

It's been a long time since I've had a new cell phone. I've always relied on the free phone given by the telecoms company once I renew my subscription plan but usually these aren't the phones that I like. I'm stuck with the Sony Ericsson K750i (I think). It is still functional except for the scroll button. It sometimes gets stuck plus it sometimes shuts down on its own which is really frustrating especially when I've typed in already a message I want to send. And so I decided to go online window shopping for a new cell phone.

Lo and behold, I saw this new phone from Sony Ericsson. It's the T707. The color of it got me intrigued already. Yes, you guessed it, it's pink. One of my favorite colors. Heehee! Look at it! It's so pretty plus it's got motion sensors at the front so you can mute an incoming call or snooze the alarm... cool right?!

What do you guys think?

Another Wedding

One of my friends is getting married early next year and I just can't help but browse the web for some really pretty styles of gowns and dresses that I want to wear on that day. I know it's a bit early but I need to "prepare" myself so I wouldn't look like Winnie the Pooh once I wear the gown. Eeek! I've been really drooling over the Marchesa gowns. They all look so flawless and unique. The cuts are different and most of all, they are purr-retty. I especially like these though they are in invory. I especially like the rightmost gown. Doesn't it remind you of Cleopatra? :)

Ok, so it's settled. Now all I have to do is to hit the gym again every other day or I go hunting for the best fat burner I can find. Hehe!

I Don't Know About You #6....

... but even McGyver wouldn't want to use this now.

It's been a while since I've posted an "I don't know about you" entry. I just haven't found anything that would really fit this category. Heehee! Now, I found one. Introducing the mutated Swiss army knife.

I mean, let's face it, we all are fans of the Swiss army knife because it's handy (read: can fit in your pocket). Now it can't because it's 9 inches in width! True, there are just some things that cannot be fixed using this tool but it's highly accepted. I guess the makers wanted this to be an all-in-one tool. But I think it's called a tool kit. Lol! Sorry for being a bit mean but I just think the makers have gone overboard.

If you look closely at the picture, at the upper left hand portion, there's a nail clipper. Ok, so how can I cut my nails when the thing itself is bigger than my hands. Hahaha! Oh well....

Horses are Pets too!

The other day, I was at the mall waiting for my husband. To kill time, I decided to do some window shopping. I got to the section of the mall with all the pet stores. I was really surprised to see a wide array of accessories for dogs and cats. They have these really cute clothes for dogs and cats. I even saw this really adorable bumblebee and butterfly "costume" for a dog. I was a bit shocked to see all of these because before there were only a few stores that carry these items. However, there aren't any stores that have horse supplies. I know taking care of a horse is already expensive but shouldn't they also be given the chance to dress up?  Wouldn't it be nice to see a horse also in a cute outfit? Heehee! I'm just saying... :-)

Fine lines

Things aren't the way it used to be. Before, after taking a bath, a little dab of loose powder on the face and a bit of lip gloss is all it takes to get ready. Then as I reached college, pressed powder and a bit of blush and a swoop of my lipstick and that's it. These days, now that I'm in my 30's already (ugh!), I have to put some toner, UV protection moisturizer and lip balm first before I can start with my make up. However, as I inspected closely my face the other night, I saw some fine lines on my face. It totally freaked me out! Now, I'm on the hunt for the best wrinkle cream. I cannot afford to have wrinkles this early. Waaa! And I thought I was taking care of my skin. *sigh* But I guess the lack of sleep from all the studying has something to do with this. Huhuhu!

Headbands

Ever since I was a kid and up until now, I've been a big headband user. I have a huge collection of them. Solid colors, polka dots, plaid, stripes, florals and even mod prints. All of these are plastic headbands. Unfortunately, the shape of my head is not compatible with the elastic headbands. They just keep on slipping off my head. I guess my head has one of those odd shapes at the back. Lol!

So anyway, I found these really pretty cool looking headbands at Etsy. They're from the seller named The Candythief (cute name right!?). I'm glad the artist made a few on plastic headbands but most of the prettier and funkier designs are on elastics. *sigh*

Here are a few of the ones on plastic headbands.

These on the other hand are the elastic headbands. I want them too! If only my head is of a different shape. Lol!

Now if only someone would send me the plastic ones. Heehee!

Wedding Souvenirs

One of my friends got engaged a few weeks ago and she is now on the planning stage of their wedding. I was chatting with her the other day and was asking for help in looking for souvenirs for their male guests. She already has a couple of ideas for her female guests but for the guys, she is totally clueless.

I myself am clueless as to what guys would really appreciate as wedding souvenirs. Maybe something edible like personalized mini beer or wine bottles would do the trick. I heard that sports gifts are a big hit too. I think the trend now is having things personalized.

I never thought thinking of wedding souvenirs would be this hard.

You would think...

Okay so I got back to my studying and was looking up on different kinds of cancers. I was really shocked to find out that up to now there are still people whose jobs expose them to asbestos. Despite the constant reminders and warning of the harmful effects of asbestos exposure, you would think that the number of these people would decrease, but there are still a few out there suffering from this disease. I even saw that there are a number of Mesothelioma lawyers out there ready to represent these people.

I do wish that after the awareness of this kind of disease, people would be smarter and employers would be more responsible.

Me likey!

Oh-em-gee! I am very pleased and happy to see these really pretty wedge shoes featured in Piperlime. I am a big fan of wedges as I cannot walk properly (read: walking like a crazy duck) when I'm on high heels. Wedges helps me with my balance. See for yourself! I want them all!

Summer Dresses

I decided to take a break from studying and I'm now doing some window shopping on the internet.

It's getting really hotter by the day and wearing jeans is not as comfortable as it used to be. I wanted to wear dresses this time whenever I go out especially when it's daytime. I feel more comfortable and cooler of course.

I saw these really pretty dresses at Victoria's Secret. Not only are they pretty but the are also on sale. Yes, the magic word! These dresses, particularly the maxi dresses are so cute and would definitely make the summer heat more bearable once I'm outdoors. Here are a few of what I love:

Aren't they all pretty and "breezy"?! Now all I have to do is get in shape so I'd look good as those models. Lol!
